The Fundamentals of Lighting course provides comprehensive instruction on state-of-the art lighting practices. In this course, designed by the IES National, and brought to you by the IES District of Columbia Chapter, attendees will be taught by esteemed Lighting Professionals in the DC metro area. They will provide attendees with an overview of architectural lighting: history, terminology/lingo, updated material on lighting systems, equipment, calculation procedures and design techniques. This course is ideal for those with minimal knowledge of lighting, as well as professionals who want a thorough overview of the basics.
Credits: 12 CEU IES Credits – 6 AIA HSW-LUs. Certificates of completion will be provided to attendees.
Participants: Architects, Interior Designers, Electrical Engineers, Entry Level Lighting Designers, Students, anyone who is interested in learning about architectural lighting!
